Job description

IAs part of the expansion of our University’s successful activities, we are seeking to appoint a Personal Assistant to the Rector (Full Time).  

Duties and Responsibilities  

  • Manage the Rector’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments. 
  • Provide high-level administrative and office management services to the Rector. 
  • Handle the Rector’s correspondence, prioritising and responding as appropriate. 
  • Prepare letters, documents, reports and presentations using software packages. 
  • Organise and service meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes and ensuring follow-up on action items. 
  • Maintain effective electronic filing systems and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information. 
  • Liaise professionally with internal departments, external partners, and stakeholders on behalf of the Rector. 
  • Collaborate closely with the Rector’s Executive Assistant and other University staff to support the smooth operation of the Rector’s Office. 

Qualifications  

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar administrative role. 
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise under pressure. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and online tools. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Positive and outgoing personality, with strong sense of duty, responsibility and reliability. 

Gross Annual Salary: €17,000 – €23,000 based on experience and qualifications.
