Senior Systems Engineer

Qualifications

·        University degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

·        Minimum five (5) years of experience in a similar role, with proven hands-on experience in:

o Designing and implementing infrastructure solution architectures to meet customer requirements.

o Installing, configuring, administering, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft Active Directory environments.

o Installing, configuring, administering, and troubleshooting Linux operating systems.

o  Installing, configuring, deploying, and administering multi-vendor application and web servers, including Oracle WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, Microsoft IIS, HAProxy, and similar technologies.

o Installing, configuring, and managing network infrastructure components, including Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Application Delivery Controllers (ADCs), and Web Application Firewalls (WAFs).

o Implementing, administering, and supporting virtualization platforms such as Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware vSphere, and Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM).

o Implementing, administering, and maintaining cloud platforms and services, including Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

o   Implementing, administering, and maintaining multi-vendor backup and recovery solutions.

·        Strong understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.

·        Good understanding of high-availability, clustering and failover concepts.

·        Cisco, HPE, and/or Microsoft Certifications will be considered as an advantage.

·        Knowledge of Bash and/or PowerShell Scripting will be considered as an advantage.

·        Knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) database administration will be considered as an advantage.
