Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payments and Reconciliation Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. Key Functions:

  • Perform daily reconciliation of transactions between internal systems, payment processors, and bank statement.
  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies or unmatched transactions on a timely manner
  • Communicate and collaborate with various internal departments and third parties to resolve any issues identified.
  • Preparing financial reports based on reconciliation results.
  • Participating in the automation and optimization of reconciliation processes.
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
  • Supported the audit process by verifying the accuracy of Payment Service Provider (PSP) balances and resolving discrepancies.

Core Competencies and Required Background:

  • Holder of a University Degree in Accounting / Finance or any other relevant degree.
  • Proven work experience within the Forex industry of at least 1 year.
  • Ability to work with large volumes of data, identify errors, and analyze discrepancies.
  • Experience in using reconciliation software. Experience in MRS is considered an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office – Excel skills with willingness for continued learning and development.
  • Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
  • Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail.
