Manager – IT Audit

We are seeking highly motivated IT Audit Managers with over 5 years of hands-on experience in IT Risk, Audit, Assurance, and Advisory to join our dynamic IT Audit team at KPMG Kuwait. This is a compelling opportunity to be part of a leading global firm and play a key role in the strategic development of a growing service line.

As an IT Audit Manager, you will lead high-impact projects, manage client relationships, and contribute to the development of new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple IT audit, assurance, or advisory engagements across various industries, ensuring high-quality delivery within scope, time, and budget in line with ISA and KPMG Audit Execution Guide.
• Manage teams of IT professionals and collaborate with cross-functional specialists to deliver value-added solutions.
• Oversee all commercial and contractual aspects of engagements to ensure profitability and compliance with firm standards.
• Present findings, risk insights, and recommendations to senior client executives, in coordination with Audit Partners and Directors, enabling informed business decisions.
• Proactively develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities with new and existing clients.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive developments to inform client strategies and service offerings.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fields (B.E/B.Tech, BCA/MCA, B.Sc/M.Sc, MBA, CA).
• More than 5 years of hands-on experience auditing IT General Controls (ITGCs), including logical security, access management, change management, and IT operations.
• Strong technical knowledge of IT architecture, network design, operating systems, and database management systems.
• Experience auditing against leading frameworks and standards: COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001/27002, COSO, etc.
• Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and IT controls documentation/testing.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, or similar IT audit/security credentials (preferred).
• Deep understanding of business and accounting information systems, such as SAP, Oracle, BANCS, or other major ERP platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, deliver high-quality results, and meet client expectations.
