Lecturer in Web Design & Development

The University of UCLan Cyprus will be employing new Academic Staff within the School of Arts, Media and Communication to begin in September 2026.

We are pleased to announce an opening for a Full-time Lecturer in Web Design & Development with specialisation in Web Development.

Applicants for the above position must hold a PhD (or have submitted their thesis and are awaiting their viva) with a proven record of research achievement and have demonstrable experience of delivering teaching in Higher Education. Applicants should have a specialisation in Web Development, with demonstrable experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. Experience in UX Design and Web Design will be considered an advantage.

A professional qualification in their field of expertise will be considered an advantage. Experience in CPD and professional training will be considered an advantage. Fluency in English is essential for the position. This is a 3-year position in the first instance.
