A long-standing accounting consultancy is working with partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire a Junior Accountant to join their Finance team in Nicosia. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented professional who is eager to develop their career in accounting within a modern, collaborative, and supportive working environment.   MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Record accounting entries and financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process and manage customer and supplier invoices.
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile customer and supplier accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports.
• Support VAT, VIES, and tax compliance processes.
• Maintain and organize accounting records and documentation.
• Use E-Soft Accounting software for daily accounting operations.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners.
• Provide support with various external accounting-related tasks as required.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Up to two (2) years of relevant work experience, including internships or practical training.
• Working knowledge of E-Soft Accounting software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good command of the Greek and English languages, both written and spoken.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Responsible, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow professionally.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability.
• Flexible Working Hours: Monday-Friday 08:00-16:30 or 09:00-17:30 with 30’ lunch break
