GRS Recruitment is working on behalf of a well-established and growing investment group based in Nicosia that is seeking to recruit an Investment Analyst to join its Investments & M&A team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with a background in Deal Advisory, Transaction Advisory, Corporate Finance, Valuations, M&A, or Investment Banking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will ideally come from a Big 4/Big 5 professional services firm or a similar advisory environment and will play a key role in evaluating, executing, and managing investment opportunities across Europe. Please note that this is a full-time, fully onsite position based in Nicosia.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to support acquisitions, developments, refinancing, and asset management activities.
- Evaluate investment opportunities through financial analysis, valuation, cash flow forecasting, IRR calculations, and sensitivity analysis.
- Prepare investment memoranda, reports, and presentations for senior management and investment committees.
- Support acquisitions and financing transactions from origination through to completion.
- Review financial and commercial due diligence reports, identifying key investment risks.
- Conduct market research on industry trends, comparable transactions, and financing markets.
- Assist with business planning, budgeting, and operational forecasting for existing and prospective investments.
- Support negotiations with lenders, advisors, brokers, and investors by preparing financial analyses and transaction documentation.
- Monitor portfolio performance and assist with ongoing valuation and reporting requirements.
- Maintain investment databases, financial models, and market intelligence.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Real Estate, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 2–5 years of relevant experience within Deal Advisory, Transaction Advisory, Corporate Finance, Valuations, M&A, Investment Banking, or a similar analytical environment.
- Previous experience gained within a leading advisory or financial services firm will be considered a strong advantage.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with proven experience in financial modelling.
- Strong understanding of valuation methodologies, DCF analysis, IRR, cash flow modelling, and financial statement analysis.
- Experience supporting due diligence, acquisitions, investments, or transaction execution.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- €40,000 – €45,000 Gross Per Annum.
