Nicosia Polyclinic is seeking a dedicated Intensivist for its Intensive Care Unit.

Nicosia Polyclinic, a leading healthcare institution in the capital, is looking for a motivated and highly skilled Intensivist to join its dynamic medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to critically ill patients. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work in a modern, patient-centered environment, contributing to exceptional care within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Job Description Position: Intensivist

Location: Nicosia Polyclinic, 22 Achaiwn Street, 1101, Nicosia, Cyprus

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and daily monitoring of critical cases in the ICU.

• Perform invasive medical procedures (e.g., intubation, placement of central venous and arterial lines).

• Operate and adjust ventilators and other life support equipment.

• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team of doctors, nursing staff, and other health professionals, while keeping relatives updated.

• Adhere to the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and hospital protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Medical Degree.

• Recognized specialization title in Intensive Care Medicine (with a primary specialty in Pulmonology, Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology, Surgery, etc.).

• Valid professional license and registration with the Cyprus Medical Association.

• Proven clinical experience in an Intensive Care Unit environment.

• Excellent ability in immediate decision-making and crisis management.

• Excellent command of the Greek language, both written and spoken. Good knowledge of English is also required.

• Professional behavior with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in using hospital information systems.
