Main Responsibilities:

  • Performs duties assigned by the Executive Chef or Shift Leader in cooking and delivering high quality meals in a timely manner.
  • Ensures the quality / freshness of ingredients and follows standard recipes.
  • Operates kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Contributes to maintaining costs within budget and minimum waste.
  • Ensures that kitchen equipment, utensils and surfaces are sanitized.
  • Saves energy with the correct use of machinery.
  • Comply with HACCP and food safety regulations and guidelines.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a 4 – 5 star hotel or a well established restaurant.
  • Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques.
  • Good knowledge of English Language.
  • Pleasant, honest and friendly personality
  • Good communication skills and ability to be part of a team to reach common goals.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eligible to work in Cyprus.
