The main responsibilities of the position include:
Deliver multiple projects of varying complexity and sizeCoordinate internal and remote software development teamsHold task owners accountable for specific deliverables and conduct project team meetings to review progress and take any necessary actionsFacilitate discussions, decision making, and conflict resolutionKeep track of delivery progress and promote team ownership by ensuring each team delivers within their set timelineMaintain a solid understanding of Agile principles to ensure PMO governance and reporting stay aligned.Ensure that requirements are comprehensive and thorough, include all the necessary information, and are ready for implementationManage impediments to meet deadlinesCollaborate closely with each project's team to provide a high-level estimation and create a delivery/release planCoordinate with other teams to ensure dependencies are alignedAssist with internal and external communication channels to improve transparency, and provide information to the right stakeholders in the right levels of abstractionCollaborate with Product Managers and other cross-functional teams to manage the expectations of stakeholders by making sure the backlog is well defined, estimated, and prioritisedTrack key team metrics to support efficient and on-time deliveryUnderstand and follow the PMO department’s processesProvide clear and accurate reports on all aspects of work, including delivery and UAT progress, monthly updates and any other reports as neededUtilise project management methodologies and relevant tools to accomplish all the aboveMain requirements:
BSc/MSc in computer science, engineering, or a related fieldAt least 3-5 years of experience in a similar positionStrong AI-forward mindset and hands-on familiarity with AI tools and platforms, demonstrating proactivity in driving AI capabilities for project management while remaining flexible and adaptive as AI technologies evolveExperience with project management software, analysis, and reporting methodsKnowledge of project management tools and techniques (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, etc.)Strong organisational and critical thinking with analytical and problem-solving skills that can handle any issues that occur during a project’s life cycleA hands-on, professional, detail-oriented approach that strives for excellence Strong written and verbal communication for coordinating with team members, stakeholders, and managementStrong interpersonal and teamwork skillsStrong leadership skills and the ability to stay motivated and work effectively under pressureThe ability to identify process deficiencies and suggest improvements based on knowledge and experienceAn understanding of the full software development life cycle and Agile methodologiesThe following will be considered an advantage:
