Our client, a reputable accounting firm based in Nicosia, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join their team. This role is hybrid, providing the flexibility to balance office and remote work, and is ideal for candidates with a background in corporate accounting and experience in non-qualified accounting roles. • Accounting and bookkeeping of client records, which can involve multicurrency accounting entries and adjustments.
• Meeting all deadlines, e.g. VAT returns preparation, VIES reporting, etc.
• General administrative duties relating to accounting work.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Fluency in written & spoken English.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Sound accounting knowledge and VAT handling on a local and European level.
• Ability to work up to a trial balance review level and prepare the company for an audit.
• Ability to work as part of a team and liaise with the company’s other departments.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality are a must.

SALARY & BENEFITS

• €18,000 – €24,000 Gross Per Annum/
• Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability.
