Official Language
The official language of the Sovereign Base Areas is English and consequently English is

- Full Driving License
- The ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing is an
essential part of this role.

Brief Description of Role
The Role is responsible for providing ICT Desktop Support at Episkopi Primary, Episkopi
Early Years, St Johns School. You are also required to provide Desktop support to MOD
School dependencies within Episkopi and Akrotiri on an as needed basis. Duties will
include support to Windows users with some basic Windows Server Administration tasks.
You will also provide IS technical advice to Management, Staff and pupils and create and
maintain local procedures.

Priorities (list in order)
You are responsible for providing ICT Desktop Support at Episkopi Primary School,
Episkopi Early Years, St Johns School, Cyprus. This includes all Windows networked
devices. You are to provide IS technical advice to Management, Staff and pupils at the
school and to ensure that any network disruptions and faults are investigated and resolved
within SLA’s agreements.
You are to ensure that all ICT devices are serviceable, maintained and updated when
required. Ensure back-up systems are operational and performing correctly and to ensure
internet systems are correctly configured and available.
