Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Manage and resolve technical or organizational issues related to photovoltaic (PV) systems, energy storage systems (ESS), and electric vehicle chargers (EV Chargers).
• Attend and provide support during inspections by the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC).
• Prepare and submit proposals for technical support to clients as required.
• Troubleshoot faults or technical problems in PV installations, monitoring systems, inverters, and EV chargers.
• Verify and supervise the proper delivery of technical documentation, warranties, and production monitoring systems to clients.
• Prepare reports on the operation of electrical, electronic, PV, and energy storage systems.
• Collaborate with, supervise, and coordinate contractors, partners, and suppliers.
• Guide and provide technical support to contractors on-site.
• Evaluate and optimize available equipment to ensure maximum productivity and financial performance.
• Conduct electrical studies and feasibility studies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and policies related to renewable energy projects.
• Perform financial analysis, including cost-benefit studies, ROI evaluation, and project viability assessment.
• Monitor and coordinate project execution in collaboration with the supervisor.
• Control the quality of work and prepare relevant quality reports.
• Follow all necessary procedures and complete forms documenting quality assurance, workplace health and safety, and environmental management according to ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and applicable legislation.
• Perform other duties as assigned in line with Group processes.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Professional license from ETEK.
• Registered in the Electrical & Mechanical Services (EMS) registry as an Electrical Engineer.
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and very good knowledge of English.
• Strong computer skills.
• Experience with project management and costing software (MS Project, BIM).
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Fulfillment of military obligations (where applicable).
