We are looking for a Mobile Systems Engineer to join our Technology Team.

Location: This is an on-site, full time position based at our headquarters in either Nicosia or Limassol.


What will you be doing?

• Manage and monitor installed systems and infrastructure (Virtualization, IP routing, Ethernet and switching) of the Core Mobile networks of Primetel
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Cooperate with partners and vendors on various related issues and projects
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Troubleshoot network related issues and work towards network improvement and resiliency
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Participate in the design of new systems and services
• Document and automate processes, procedures and workflows
• Monitor and report performance analysis and systems KPIs
• Troubleshoot related complaints and provide solution in a timely mannerCollaborate with cross-functional teams to architect, design, and develop the mobile core infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration across different network generations (2G, 3G, 4G and 5G).

We are looking for you if you have:

• BSc or MSc in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• At least two years of experience in related position
• Experience in maintaining and operating private clouds using OpenStack and/or VMware
• Experience in administering UNIX/Linux based systems
• Experience with IP/MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, L2VPN, L3VPN, VPLS, VRF, QoS/CoS, Traffic Engineering, IPv6 etc
• Experience with Firewalls, IPsec and VPNs
• Ability to prioritize and manage several activities simultaneously
• Attention to detail/ accuracy
  
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
• Excellent command of the spoken/written English language
