Job description

As part of the expansion of our University’s successful activities, we are seeking to appoint an IT Officer (Full Time).  

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second line support to all users (staff, students, guests).
  • Support the IT Department on identifying smart solutions to IT-related problem with immediate response and within strict deadlines.
  • Investigate and offer effective solutions and suggestions for enhancements and improvements of the IT resources and services.
  • Support the audio-visual and IT needs and requirements of the events and functions/activities on campus.
  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, printers etc.
  • Repair and replace IT/AV-related equipment as necessary.
  • Support the management of IT assets, IT stock control and IT related procurement.
  • Learn new technologies and techniques, to improve the educational services of the University.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computing or related fields.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office 365 Systems.
  • Minimum experience of two years in IT-related role and evidence of competence in windows-based applications.
  • Ability to undertake maintenance of IT and audio-visual equipment.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English Language.
  • Positive personality characterised by punctuality, discipline and reliability, and with strong sense of duty and responsibility.
