At Mare Ayia Napa, we create elevated hospitality experiences inspired by community, lifestyle, and authentic Mediterranean living. We are currently looking for an analytical and detail-oriented F&B Cost Controller to join our team.

The role:

The F&B Cost Controller will play a key role in monitoring food and beverage costs, stock control processes, and operational performance, supporting the hotel’s profitability objectives while maintaining high operational standards.

This position requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and collaboration with operational departments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct monthly inventory counts across all F&B outlets and storage areas
  • Record, reconcile, and monitor stock movements within the system
  • Prepare stock control and variance reports
  • Monitor food and beverage cost performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Perform recipe and menu costings
  • Analyse profitability and operational efficiencies
  • Prepare monthly F&B performance reports and KPI analysis
  • Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and company standards
  • Investigate discrepancies and provide recommendations for corrective actions
  • Collaborate closely with Kitchen, Purchasing, and F&B teams

Candidates Profile:

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Previous experience in a similar role within hospitality will be considered an advantage
  • Good understanding of stock control procedures and cost management
  • Familiarity with POS systems, inventory systems, and reporting tools
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
