Thanos Hotels & Resorts is seeking to recruit a Καθαριστής πισίνας for the Anassa Hotel.

Job Overview

  • The Pool Cleaner is responsible for ensuring the hotel’s swimming pool and surrounding areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • This role includes daily cleaning, monitoring water quality, maintaining pool equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards to provide guests with a pleasant and safe swimming experience.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and vacuum the pool daily, including brushing pool walls and floors.
  • Skim and remove debris from the surface of the water.
  • Test and balance water chemistry according to safety guidelines.
  • Monitor and maintain pool filtration systems, pumps, and heaters.
  • Clean and maintain poolside furniture and surrounding areas.
  • Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
  • Add chemicals safely and maintain accurate records of pool maintenance and chemical readings.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel standards and local health and safety regulations.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in a similar position at a 5* Hotel
  • Good knowledge of English.  Knowledge of Greek or any other language will be considered as an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of pool water chemistry and cleaning procedures.
  • Ability to operate and maintain pool equipment.
