NALU Hotel in Latsi is seeking a dedicated Floor Supervisor to ensure that guest rooms, public areas, and ancillary spaces meet the hotel’s hygiene and presentation standards.
Job Summary:
The Floor Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms, public areas, corridors, and ancillary areas. This role supervises housekeeping staff, assists with room inspections, and coordinates with other departments to maintain a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Distribute floor workload fairly among housekeeping staff and supervise their work to ensure maximum coverage and efficiency.
Inspect all public areas daily, including restaurants, offices, staff areas, pool areas, and conference rooms, ensuring they meet hotel standards.
Supervise and inspect cleaning of guest rooms, including arrivals, departures, vacant rooms, suites, and VIP rooms. Assist room attendants when needed.
Complete room status reports and report any irregularities to the Head of Housekeeping.
Ensure the lost and found procedure is implemented properly.
Liaise with the Technical Department regarding damages or maintenance requirements.
Ensure correct cleaning aids and materials are used in appropriate quantities for each task.
Check that housekeeping equipment and machines are maintained and in proper working order.
Coordinate with Reception, Maintenance, and Linen Room for timely preparation of guest rooms.
Handle guest complaints and escalate unresolved issues to the Head of Housekeeping.
Prepare flower arrangements as required.
Follow hotel Health & Safety rules and GDPR requirements.
Adhere to accident reporting procedures for guests and staff.
Perform any other tasks assigned by management related to housekeeping operations.
Skills & Qualifications:
Knowledge of Greek or English language and basic computer skills.
Pleasant and professional personality.
Graduate of a recognized Hotel School or Hospitality Management program.
Previous experience in a similar supervisory housekeeping role.
Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage staff efficiently.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with other departments.
Commitment to Health & Safety and GDPR compliance.
