NALU Hotel in Latsi is seeking a diligent and professional Chambermaid to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities.

Job Summary:

The Chambermaid is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to the hotel’s standards of hygiene and cleanliness. This role supports the Floor Supervisor in ensuring a safe, welcoming, and spotless environment for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms, bathrooms, and corridors to hotel standards.

  • Clean public areas as instructed by the Floor Supervisor, including corridors, pool areas, pool restaurant, veranda, and staff areas.

  • Use and care for cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, and apply detergents according to instructions.

  • Comply with hotel procedures for room keys/cards and report any suspicious behavior.

  • Deliver lost property to the Housekeeping office promptly.

  • Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned by the Floor Supervisor.

  • Maintain a clean, well-pressed uniform and wear a name badge at all times.

  • Change bed linen as instructed, ensuring all linen is clean, ironed, and in good repair.

  • Clean furniture, pictures, mirrors, and all surfaces, including ledges in and out of sight.

  • Empty and clean ashtrays and rubbish bins; clean telephones, TVs, and other devices.

  • Vacuum floors and carpets daily and clean balcony furniture, floors, doors, and ledges.

  • Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including baths, tiles, taps, showers, toilets, mirrors, and floors.

  • Replenish guest supplies and towels daily according to hotel requirements.

  • Maintain control of trolley items to prevent theft and ensure no dirty linen is left at the end of the day.

  • Follow hotel Health & Safety rules and GDPR requirements.

  • Adhere to accident reporting procedures for guests and staff.

  • Perform any other tasks assigned by management related to housekeeping operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Greek or English language.

  • Pleasant, professional personality.

  • Minimum 6 months experience in a similar housekeeping role.

  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

  • Ability to work efficiently, maintain cleanliness standards, and prioritize tasks.

  • Commitment to Health & Safety and GDPR compliance.
