Accounting Manager

Our client, a well-established and growing FMCG organization with offices in Limassol, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Accounting Manager to lead and oversee the accounting function. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and effective financial reporting, while supporting management in strategic decision-making.   MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage, organize, and supervise the company’s accounting department.
• Review and post accounting entries, reconcile balances and ledger accounts.
• Monitor cash flow and oversee budgeting processes.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for management.
• Ensure full compliance with tax regulations and applicable legislation.
• Coordinate with external partners (auditors, tax advisors, banks, authorities).
• Supervise, guide, and support the accounting team.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a structured commercial, retail, or FMCG environment.
• Excellent knowledge of Cyprus Accounting Standards and applicable financial reporting frameworks.
• Very good knowledge of Cyprus tax legislation.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Strong organizational skills, problem-solving ability, and sense of accountability.
• Previous experience in a retail chain / supermarket environment will be considered an advantage.
• Experience with large-scale ERP systems.
• Proven experience in team management.
