Looking for an Λογιστής for our Cyprus office.
Requirements
As a Cognyter you will:
- Perform day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts.
- Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations, including AP, AR, payroll, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and intercompany balances.
- Perform Trial Balance and General Ledger reviews during the month-end and quarter-end close processes.
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and other accounting adjustments.
- Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Assist with statutory audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements.
- Support payroll accounting and related compliance requirements.
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors, banks, and internal stakeholders.
For that mission you will need:
- At least 3 years’ experience in the accounting area
- Certified Accountant or in process of achieving an accounting certification will be considered as an advantage
- Knowledge of accounting standards IFRS (US GAAP knowledge will be an advantage)
- Fluent English- speak, read and write a must
- Experience in Oracle is an advantage
- Advanced skills in database systems and spreadsheet applications
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail, good communication skills and be able to interact with others.
- A methodical and structured approach to work, able to prioritized and manage the workload.
