Recruitment Agent for Inland Shipping

GRS Recruitment are currently seeking a Recruitment Agent for Inland Shipping to join the team and support the recruitment and coordination of Captains and crew members operating on vessels across European waterways, including the Rhine River. In general crew sail in Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. This position is well-suited to an organized and proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic, international maritime environment and enjoys working closely with people and operational processes. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and maintain crew and vessel data within internal systems
• Coordinate onboarding processes, including documentation and profile creation
• Prepare and distribute contracts and assignment-related documentation
• Maintain clear communication with crew members regarding roles and requirements
• Liaise with internal departments on administrative and payment-related matters
• Support recruitment efforts through job postings and network outreach
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and timely follow-up on all tasks

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Fluency in English (German or Dutch is considered an advantage)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• High level of reliability and attention to detail

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• € 20,400 – € 24,000 Gross Per Annum
• Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability.
