Job Purpose The Head of Marketing leads the company's marketing strategy and execution across two core markets: Maritime sector (with primary focus on shipping companies, fleet operators, and ship managers) B2B Enterprise clients across multiple industries The role is responsible for positioning the company's technology solutions in these markets, generating qualified demand, and supporting commercial growth through effective marketing campaigns and clear product messaging. The role also oversees marketing operations, including the use of HubSpot CRM and marketing automation, while leading and developing the marketing team. Working closely with Sales, Business Development, and Product teams, the Head of Marketing ensures that marketing initiatives contribute directly to pipeline development, brand positioning, and market expansion. Key Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Market Positioning - Develop and execute the company's marketing strategy across maritime and enterprise markets. - Define target customer segments, buyer personas, and value propositions for each market. - Position the company's technology solutions clearly and competitively within the maritime and enterprise ecosystems. - Contribute to the company's commercial planning and growth initiatives. Demand Generation & Campaign Leadership - Plan and oversee marketing campaigns designed to generate qualified leads and support revenue growth. - Develop targeted campaigns for maritime and enterprise audiences, including digital and account-based marketing initiatives. - Monitor marketing performance and optimize campaigns based on data and commercial impact. - Ensure strong alignment between marketing activities and the sales pipeline. Product Marketing & Solution Positioning - Translate complex technical solutions into clear and compelling value propositions. - Support product launches and solution updates with appropriate messaging and marketing materials. - Develop sales enablement content such as case studies, presentations, and industry insights. - Work closely with commercial and technical teams to communicate product benefits effectively. Marketing Operations & HubSpot CRM - Own and optimize the use of HubSpot CRM as the central marketing and lead management platform. - Implement lead generation, segmentation, and marketing automation processes. - Track marketing contribution to pipeline and report on campaign performance and ROI. - Ensure alignment between marketing and sales processes within the CRM. Brand, Content & Market Presence - Maintain a consistent and professional brand presence across all marketing channels and markets. - Oversee the development of marketing content including website materials, digital campaigns, presentations, and industry publications. - Strengthen the company's visibility through thought leadership, digital marketing, and participation in relevant industry initiatives. Events & Industry Engagement - Plan and oversee the company's participation in key maritime exhibitions, conferences, and industry events. - Support enterprise-focused events, webinars, and digital forums. - Evaluate event effectiveness and ensure follow-up actions support lead generation and customer engagement. Leadership & Team Development - Lead and develop the marketing team, providing clear direction and support. - Coordinate the work of the Digital Marketing Officer, Marketing and Creative Officer and Multimedia Designer to ensure effective campaign execution and high-quality creative output. - Manage relationships with external marketing agencies and partners where required. - Foster a collaborative, results-oriented marketing culture. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. - 5–7 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably within technology-driven environment. - 2+ years of experien ce in a Team Leader role or people management position. - Experience working with maritime/shipping or enterprise technology markets is highly desirable. - Proven experience in digital marketing, demand generation, and marketing campaign management. - Hands-on experience with HubSpot CRM or similar marketing automation platforms. - Experience supporting complex B2B sales cycles and multi-stakeholder buying processes. - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
