GRS Recruitment is working on behalf of a boutique and rapidly growing law firm in Nicosia, with a strong reputation in corporate and commercial law and a solid portfolio of local and international clients. Due to continuous expansion, the firm is seeking to recruit a Litigation Lawyer to join its highly professional and client-focused team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and experienced professional to be part of a modern and dynamic practice that values initiative, precision, and collaboration.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing a portfolio of litigation files, with a focus on corporate and commercial disputes.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, pleadings, legal opinions, and all related legal documentation.
- Providing legal advice on corporate and commercial litigation matters.
- Conducting thorough legal research.
- Liaising with clients, external advisers, and regulatory/public authorities as required.
- University Law Degree ideally from the UK with a minimum grade of 2:1.
- Master’s degree and/or BPTC will be considered an advantage.
- Qualified Cyprus Lawyer.
- 3–5 years’ PQE in commercial and corporate litigation.
- Court experience before both the District Courts and the Supreme Court.
- Proven experience drafting pleadings, opinions, and related documents.
- Strong legal research skills and familiarity with tools such as CyLaw, LexisNexis, Westlaw, and legal textbooks.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Fluency in both Greek and English, written and verbal.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a demanding environment.
- Highly organised, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience handling international and institutional clients.
