The main responsibilities of the position include:
Administer and manage WAF and Bot Management systemsPerform system hardening and ensure secure data handling during transmission, storage, and processingImplement and manage access controls, including Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, to ensure secure and compliant access to critical systemsReview and enforce application control policies, ensuring only authorized software is executed and that software usage complies with organizational security standardsReview security violations and recommend procedures to prevent recurrenceProvide support to end users on security-related issuesParticipate in incident managementMain requirements:
BSc/MSc in information security or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in Information Security, with at least 1 year of hands-on experience with Akamai security productsPractical experience with Akamai WAF, BMP, and other related toolsStrong security expertise in Windows, Linux, virtualization environments and databasesFamiliarity with access control mechanisms, such as Privileged Access Management (PAM)Experience in implementing and managing application control policies and reviewing software execution to ensure compliance with organizational security standardsSolid understanding of networking and communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, SSL/TLS, HTTP, HTTPS)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesAbility to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving security challengesThe following will be considered an advantage:
