Finance Accountant

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
• Assist with the preparation of management accounts, financial reports, and financial analysis.
• Perform daily client money reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support external audit processes and liaise with auditors as required.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal procedures and accounting standards.
• Assist with borrower repayment processing, client transactions, and other finance operations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and ad hoc finance projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls, and reporting procedures.
• Work closely with colleagues across the business to support effective financial operations.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• ACCA finalist, newly qualified accountant, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Previous experience within an audit firm, professional services environment, or finance department.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Exposure to IFRS and financial statement preparation would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop.
• Interest in fintech, financial services, and technology-driven businesses.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• €28, 000 - €35,000 Gross Per Annum
• Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability
