An innovative Fintech company specialising in the credit lending sector is collaborating with GRS Recruitment to recruit a Finance Accountant for their Limassol offices. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional, such as an ACCA finalist, newly qualified accountant, or Audit Senior looking to make their first move from practice into industry. The successful candidate will join a growing finance team and gain broad exposure across financial operations, reporting, reconciliations, regulatory requirements, and the day-to-day activities of a fast-growing financial services organisation. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
- Assist with the preparation of management accounts, financial reports, and financial analysis.
- Perform daily client money reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support external audit processes and liaise with auditors as required.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal procedures and accounting standards.
- Assist with borrower repayment processing, client transactions, and other finance operations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and ad hoc finance projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls, and reporting procedures.
- Work closely with colleagues across the business to support effective financial operations.
- ACCA finalist, newly qualified accountant, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Previous experience within an audit firm, professional services environment, or finance department.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Exposure to IFRS and financial statement preparation would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop.
- Interest in fintech, financial services, and technology-driven businesses.
- €28, 000 - €35,000 Gross Per Annum
- Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability
