GRS Recruitment is working with an established professional services provider in Limassol who is seeking to recruit a Compliance Officer to join their team. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will join a structured environment consisting of lawyers and administrative staff, supporting a portfolio of approximately 200 corporate clients. This role presents a strong opportunity for a junior compliance professional or lawyer with 2–3 years’ relevant experience.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage onboarding of new corporate entities and trusts in line with AML and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).
  • Maintain and update client risk assessments and compliance files.
  • Prepare and submit annual reports to CyBar (as applicable).
  • Liaise with local and international banks for the opening of client bank accounts.
  • Provide internal guidance on compliance and regulatory matters.
  • Assist with the implementation and monitoring of internal AML policies and procedures.
  • Ensure ongoing monitoring of the existing client portfolio.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • International Compliance Association (ICA) Certification in AML for ICPAC and CBA Members
  • 2–3 years’ experience in compliance within a corporate service provider, law firm, or regulated entity.
  • Experience with client entity and/or trust onboarding.
  • Sound understanding of AML legislation and the Cypriot regulatory framework.
  • Law degree or junior lawyer qualification considered an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage a broad client portfolio efficiently.
COMPANY BENEFITS
  • Monday to Thursday: 08:00–17:00, Friday: 08:00–13:00.
  • Flexibility to reduce lunch break and finish earlier, if preferred.
  • 13th salary.
