We are seeking a dynamic and strategically minded Account Executive to join our client’s established marketing group in Nicosia. The successful candidate will have a dual role within the marketing agency. On the one hand, he/she will support Account Managers in handling major agency clients and on the other hand, he/she will manage his/her own accounts with the appropriate guidance and support. The Account Executive will act as the “intermediary” between the Agency and the client. He/she is the communication professional who understands advertising in all its dimensions and possesses strong organizational and interpersonal skills. He/she understands each client’s needs, processes them effectively, and communicates them clearly and in a well-documented manner to the relevant internal departments (Creative, Digital, Media, etc.). MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Following every client meeting, and prior to drafting a brief for the relevant department, the Account Executive prepares a Contact Report – a written report outlining all requests and key discussion points from the meeting. This report is internally approved (where necessary) and then sent to the client for final confirmation and sign-off.
- Draft briefs for requested projects to the relevant departments/teams, using the company’s internal templates.
- Actively participate in shaping the client’s strategy alongside the Account Planning team.
- Direct and manage all client projects – from large-scale campaigns to smaller activations.
- Motivate the creative teams handling their projects, foster team spirit, and push them to deliver their best work.
- Evaluate the creative output presented to them in a constructive and objective manner.
- Stay up to date with domestic and global advertising trends through the tools and resources provided by the Company.
- Stand behind and support the work presented to clients, genuinely believing it serves the client’s best interests, and persuasively advocate for it with strong arguments, confidence, and inspiration.
- In collaboration with their Client Service superiors and Management, approve the costing of each project.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing.
- Strong understanding of advertising across all channels (offline & online).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Strategic thinking and commercial awareness.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Confidence in client-facing situations and presentations.
- Fluency in Greek and English, both written and verbal.
- €19,500 - €23,400 Gross Per Annum
- Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability.
