Accountant (VAT Focus)

Are you an Accountant with VAT experience interested in developing your career within a well-established firm in Nicosia?

Responsibilities:

• Assist with VAT preparation and submission in line with local regulations

• Maintain accurate accounting records and support bookkeeping activities

• Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial statements

• Perform reconciliations, including VAT and bank reconciliations

• Process invoices and support daily accounting operations

• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with relevant regulations

• Work with accounting software to record financial transactions

• Liaise with internal teams when required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• ACCA qualification completed or in progress

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in accounting or VAT

• Knowledge of VAT, Social Insurance & Tax regulations

• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. E-soft, Odoo) will be an advantage.

• Very good knowledge of Greek & English

• Good time management skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• IT literate and adaptable

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
