  • Job Vacancy: Building Maintenance Technician
  • The University is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance
  • and proper operation of its facilities.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general maintenance tasks across university buildings and facilities.
  • Inspect and repair minor issues related to electrical, plumbing, and mechanical
  • systems.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and basic repairs of equipment and installations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address technical issues
  • proactively.
  • Perform plaster wall repairs, wall restoration, and painting work when required.
  • Coordinate with external technicians or contractors when specialized repairs are
  • required.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of building systems and infrastructure.
  • Required Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a similar role (e.g., building maintenance technician, hotel
  • maintenance technician, or similar position).
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance work.
  • Knowledge of basic plaster repair and painting will be considered an advantage.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and teamwork.
  • Ability to respond promptly to maintenance needs.
